This dragon-shaped playground is one of the last sand based playground left in Singapore.It is just in front of Blk 28 Toa Payoh Lorong 6. Such concrete playgrounds were a common sight in the HDB estates during the 1970s to the early 90s.
This photo is taken on the 3rd floor of Blk 28. You can the units on the right of the photo. Blk 28 and its neighboring blocks were due to en bloc development but has been rented out to foreign workers and locals. Recently the rental lease has ended and the block might not stand there for too long

I just bought the Royston Tan Old romances and Old places DVD from objectifs, we should continue shooting all the old places before its gone for good...
