beautiful. so classy. I love it!

I like to know how bro Sprewell has unlimited supply of hot professional dancers

and

how bro sim4nee has unlimited supply of hot young women

I must be working in the wrong line. :o

Make that the both of us. Go to 500px.com. I wonder where they got all THOSE models from.

I will be very happy if we can organize a HOT MODEL SHOOT.

The last model shoot days were with Contax Club. Donkey years ago.

Some fresh ones from a flash session at a friend's place last weekend. One thing I've learned is that 1/100 f8 ISO100 with flash throws out amazingly sharp pictures every time, even handheld.

Shooting at F8 is the optimal for most lenses. Leaf shuttle syns at all speed, allowing more or less background to show up.
At F5.6 or F8, the Seagull shows amazing results too. (of course not as good as yours here).
You were using off camera flash. Remote trigger.

Hot Model Shoot have to approach Sim4Nee haha.

Botanical gardens
Mamiya C330F 55mm F4.5 Sekor
Reala 100 film

(Too much flare and the thick filter caused vignetting.Ended up half washed out. )
Anyone wants to shoot night Botanical gardens?

Yeah, but I was shooting with the focal plane shutter - to poor to afford the LS lenses for my 645AFD so far. Saving up for the DF first. And yes, off-camera flash - the 645AFD plays nice with my Phottix Atlas remote triggers and Nikon Speedlights. Might probably spring for a Profoto D1 500W kit and a couple of seamless backdrops soon.

For background lighting, I realize I can do pretty okay with 1/125 as long as I'm mindful of the time of day. Shooting at midday, especially here in the Middle East probably requires a lens/back combo that gets me flash sync at 1/1600, but I will need the LS lenses, the Phase One IQ160/180 backs, and a Profoto Air system, all of which is a lot more expensive than timing my shoots to happen in the early morning or late evening :)

Alternatively, a middle ground would be to get my hands on a Hasselblad CFV-16 back (know anyone selling one?) and use it with my 500CM and the CZ lenses that flash sync to 1/500 :)

Cannot compare film with digital - Seagulls are excellent TLRs that don't break the bank and deliver great quality of images. Already got a couple of film systems, though I find myself shooting 6x6 with my Hassy and 645 with my 645AFD more than I shoot 35mm with my Voigt.

I'm game for a night shoot but Botanic Gardens closes at 12 midnight. As in ALL THE LIGHTS will switch off and making it impossible to find your way out. I kana that a few months back.

Fortunately, I always pack a torch light with my landscape photography setup and was 100m away from the lobby.

I usually don't stay that late. I go about last light at about 6+ and leave about 8+.

I have a problem here. My Mamiya lenses (TLR and 7) appear to flare a lot.
The TLR lens is the 55mm or 65mm. Even with hood the flare can be bad, and without filters better.
Same goes for the 80mm F4 on the 7, super sharp, but prone to flare.

Mamiya users can help please? Or the coating on my lenses are gone?

(OK someone mailed me.... all lenses are prone to FLARE.
Will try again without filters, good hood, avoid point at light source, thx)
