Mamiya AFD2, 35mm F3.5
B&W film : Kodak TRI-X 400 ( shoot at 800 , PUSH +1 )

location : Arulmigu Velmurugan Gnana Muneeswarar Temple

http://mamiyafoto.wordpress.com Some of my photos taken with the Mamiya Universal. Had a great time at the Tanjong Pagar Railway

Congratulations! Thanks for the posting. The pictures captured the 60s moods very nicely, and almost identical to some old 'direct print' B&W.

Excellent presentation.

I was thinking of doing the same using the Mamiya C220 with the old 65mm lens + soften filter. There are just too many people and time is running out.
But the instant print does it all with magic. Well done!

Yes. This temple is the one at Rivervale crescent.
There is no sign board that says "no photography".

I said "hi" to the monk, tells them that I am going to take some pictures.
And I carefully take my pictures without disturbing or upset the people praying inside.

Thanks for the compliments. I can't stop using my mamiya universal since the day i got it. Thinking of going to railway station again in evening to do sunset shots. Love the polaroids.

I thought 120 film is expensive. Polaroids are even worse :bsmilie:

Buy mine from adorama or b and h. ship back via borderlinx in bulk, and presto, a lot cheaper, and i mean a lot. compared to Instax, and the price of polaroids in singapore, it turns out ok for me.

My last experience with Polaroid was more than 15 years ago, in the old days I checked the picture before taking the real 120 shot.
I have the Mamiya chrome lens 65mm and 105mm. They give a similar type of colour your pictures show. Some people don't like it though. By the way, which lens you used?
I am be making a Melacca trip soon. Will bring the Rolleiflex 3.5F and Mamiya C220+55mm.

Using the 127mm f4.7. Almost like a 50mm prime lens. Can't wait to go to Malacca to take some photos witht the Universal. Enjoy!

I organized a Malacca trip in 1999 with friends. It was memorable even until today.
Jonkers street must be more vibrant and interesting today.
Seriously, we should organize a medium format shoot someday :).

Nice pics again Billy...given your standard..we will soon be asking for more n more! :)

Nikkornos...do organise one :) I very much wanted to bring my mamiya c330 out for a walk! Maybe Penang would be fun as well...w the cheap air tix...it will be faster n easier to fly to penang...

the last malacca trip i went..i got stuck at custom and reach malacca ard 5pm...it was a horrible experience...
