Focusing at night is horrible, I can't tell whats in and whats off focus from the ground glass.
I'm shifting back to day time shooting for the timebeing

I would imagine anything longer than a 180mm lens would be essential for such a "park" visit

actually shot most of the park with the 28mm. The pic above was shot with a 120mm, the longest lens I have on my Hassy setup.

I get what u mean. Focusing on ground glass at night is a pain...everything looks like its out of focus!

I use a very powerful flashligt to lit my subject when I shoot close ups to makes things a bit easier

maybe you scan them as single frames
with the label across instead of the sides you will pickup the sides in this case

My rental while touring the South West USA...in twilight...shot at ISO50, f/8, 30s exposure, at the car park of Horseshoe Bend, Arizona.

H3D-39 with HCD 4/28.


My tripod is positioned 4,200 feet (1280m) above sea level and the Colorado River is at 3,200 feet (975m) above sea level making it a breathtaking 1,000 foot (308m) drop from tripod to water level. Quite a scary thing.
