Hi mmmel. Nice picture. Have you considered this image in black and white? I thought the colours were a little distracting and given the nature of the subject, the image could possibly lend itself a little better in b&w. If you don't mind I copied your picture and converted it to b&w. Please let me know if this offends you and I will remove it.

Looks like the 250 is your weapon of choice. Nicely done. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Have you tried a red filter? I think it would increase the contrast here and help separate the background from the branches in the front. Might I also suggest tweaking the levels. I tried it and it really brings out the 2 main branches.
