Grandma's Love

In the busy street of Nathan Road, Hong Kong, the grandma piggy back her grandson to cross the road.

It reminds me of my own grandma who looked after me while my parents were at work during the day.

Now my own sons are being looked after by my mum... the generation continues....

Nothing to shop in HK... prices for second hand items are higher than in SGP.

Anyway... I got poisoned after seeing Fatt-kor with his 8x10... then nero came to my shop and showed me his 4x5 and the poison ran even deeper...

I happened to run into Fringe HK and came across a photo exhibition by Shima Eleven. It was about portraits on photographers done on his large format camera. Amazing pictures... and super poison!

After traded in my Hassey for a mint Leica M4, I thought I am done with MF for now. While looking at evil bay for a BP M2, I chanced upon this Rolleiflex 2.8F at a price I couldn't resist.

Here's fresh from the oven after I collected the camera from Singpost.

Double-exposed by mistake. But cool effect. Old man in his old display case! hah! I've installed the Mamiya screen on the flex.
