Ektar 100..

Fuji Reala 100 still seems more 'accurate' to me. But Ektar isn't too shabby altogether.

Dankwan...you are tempting me to source for some Rodinal. My sister mentioned some 3 hour Stand development with 1:100 rodinal that seemed rather interesting.

Yashica Mat124G with Lucky 100 - HC110 dilution G @ 29C, pre-wash @5mins, initial agitation 10sec, stand development at 30 mins, no agitation in-between , fix, wash and dry

What EI were you shooting at ? Your pics are remarkably contrasty for Lucky 100 - i've tried the film in 135 and 120 formats, developing for 10 min in 1:100 HC-110 and the results were very flat. You're developing at 3X the time I used. 30 mins at those conditions is equivalent to 16 mins dil B/20°C though, which is way above the 6 mins recommended for Lucky 100. Were you deliberately pushing ?

Hi nstclicks, everything was shot at rated speed. If you go to my flickr site, I noted that the first frame with the ducatti, I added contrast. The second frame was noted as no contrast. My dilution was 1:120 at room temperature with no inversions inbetween. I wasnt deliberately pushing per se, I wanted to see the effects of extended time.

Cool. That back alley in which we took similar shots is quite a good place to shoot.

A few more from me.

hi dovevadar,

just curious how you scan your med format negs with the film borders showing, and yet get such a sharp and vibrant scan out, assuming you self scan & do not use the supplied holders..

i've tried doing this by placing the negs flat on the scanner glass, and picked scan area as the option in the software, but the colors and sharpness are pretty off, as compared to scanning using the supplied holders, and picking film holder as the scan type option.

cheers.. ;)
