Hi beanokim,

you used a leveling meter? cos ur photo is very level :)

very beautiful pictures :)

Hi Kiari04,

Thank you for your kind words. No, I don't use a leveling meter. I handheld these shots. My focusing screen has a horizontal and vertical line which makes leveling the scene quite easy. Plus the landscape doesn't move which helps a lot. :) I was very deliberate when taking these pictures as I had only 5 exposures left by the time I reached the last park.

Woah, you're the man ! Imagine if you still have like 7 rolls
Happy happy...

That's exactly what I was wishing I had. I started with 2 rolls of 120 Velvia 50, got too excited initially and made too many exposures on less impressive scenes. By the time I got to the "good stuff", I was down to 5 exposures so only took 1 shot for each location.

I will be traveling to Glacier National Park next week before it gets too cold and they close the roads, then up to Calgary and Jasper National Park. I have 15 rolls of 120 Velvia 50 in the mail so should be a little more prepared this time. :D

Here's an exposure made at Canyonland National Park. Can you see the 2 cars on the dirt road at the bottom of the frame? That's how impressive this place was. I think pictures don't do it justice.

Cool man ! the square frame just sucks the entire scene..
Would recomand some Realas negatives too, and a few rolls of B&W, just incase the lighting allows for those as well.

Reala is my film of choice if I shoot negatives. The 2 rolls of Ilford PanF 50 sitting in my fridge are coming along too. :)

lol, old found love, not new:) haiou, takes a backseat for now.

Very natural pose. I like the colour especially...

Hey Chiif:) Always nice to hear from you. Surprising I didn't have to tweak the colours given the colour shifts of colour negatives, all i did was to right click on a neutral area in the negative before commencing my scan in Vuescan.

Yup, she was the one who asked for a portrait, and realised that I was shooting with film when she was looking for the LCD on my film back. lol.

Haha! True, then she would be sorely disappointed! But i sent her the scan last night and she was pleased, makes it worthwhile:)
