We went Yishun Dam on last Sunday morning. Unfortunately the light and scene wasn't great. However we spotted a jar full of moss on its outer wall. After some "magic" placement, here it is on a 6x17 format.
Hi everyone,
Embarked on MF journey last Nov.
Comments much appreciated.
Steep learning curve.
Personal learning points so far:
- cannot be trigger happy, like DSLR; film is not cheap
- remember to remove the lens cap when using ranger finder - had the record of 8/10 empty frames on a roll of film.
- still not used to composing in 6x7. Maybe its just me.
- metering IS VERY important
- scanning film is an ART. Very difficult. Results, for me, are always different from slides. Cant get the color and tone right.
