hello Mr Hong,

I did saw a bus stop there. From the link, it shows that bus service no. 975 reaches there. No MRT service is available there.
do check out the first bus timing before to set off.

This jetty is at the end of Lim Chu Kang road.

llkang u are back in action in 2012! no LF shot?

hello lao da,

long time no see.... For this place, the jetty is moving quite strongly, light is dim during sunrise...
many fisherman is walking or using the platform as well, every time someone moves, the jetty move.

If I start to pull out a LF, it is going to be messy...
I have been to this place on several occasion , and it is almost impossible to shoot at ISO-100. The jetty is really moving up and down quite strongly.

Was using ISO-400 film that morning to overcome the jetty movements. Tough shot it was...
early in the morning, my metering is about F5.6 at 1/30sec ( ISO-400 ), anything slower than this, it is going to be blur liao.

Ofcourse, I am still using LF, but not on this location :)

good luck guys,
Billy

What can I say except "You did it again!"

Absolutely gorgeous. Flawlessly executed in my book... and taken locally to add.

Thanks so much for sharing.

So I went to Lim Chu Kang Jetty...

the jetty move a LOT. Setting up a tripod would be futile and there isnt much room cause the police coast guard is on one side and they wont be too happy to see cameras point in their direction!

Shot on Mamiya AFD II - Tri X at 400 over exposed by 1/3 stop. Images toned in silver efex pro
