experimented with the timing, found it to be similar to HP5+)

Were these post processed?

they all look heavily post processed..either sharpened too much or a very strong highpass filter?

Hmm on the contrary, they are very lightly processed. some of it + some exposure.
Didn't sharpen them at all.

I'm very suprised that the tx400 came out this sharp (or in some cases overly sharp)

Wah what's with the sudden influx of female portraits in this thread? Haha.
Unedited besides the obvious BW conversion and contrast/leveling.

A portrait is a painting, photograph, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant.

Strictly speaking, there isn't much portrait.

Finally I got my jobo 2502 reel and get 120 film processed. First time processing = failure. Did not get the trick of loading film into the reel yet and a lot of scratches were observed. Sharing 1 shot from Lower Peirce Reservoir outing.

Ah Hong! Very nice and really good. If the film is for scanning, then it is not too critical as most scanners have limitations (relative to actual printing).

For 120 film, I can pass you the Paterson Auto Load reel, which is NO FUSS and super easy to load.
I have two spare, but I now use more on the KAISER system.
I have the Paterson Super 4 system developer tank (bought in UK, 1991) which I do not use now.
For 4X5 there is a mod 54 insert, but i am not sure as I have the Jobo.

Welcome to the Seagull Gang. Remember to use a Hood (you need to adapt), and shoot at least F4 or 5.6.
You may find this camera as good as a German basic TLR. ;)

thanks nikkornos, the paterson reel is really very easy to load. I think i will still give the jobo reel another trial as i'm too tempted to only use 300ml chemicals for 2 rolls of 120 film:bsmilie:

I once tempted to order the Jobo PRO tank that could load 6 4X5 film in round holes. I gave up after knowing I cannot roll it.

Use WOOTSK 80ml method with NO HOLDER. I am going to do this this weekend on E6.
For B&W, I developed using only 200ml. No issues.

My God. This neg is begging to be enlarged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's between a cherry and a tomato - sweet

More from my China trip. Some PP done for contrast, levels and removing the dust and fibres from scanning.
