A lot of tilt.
If you are experimenting, Shanghai 100 is a good choice. Developed using HC110 its will give the mood you want.
HP5+ at SGD 70 for 25 pieces from Ruby?

When we finally have the chance to stop to take some shots, the light has become quite harsh. Ending up is this abstract like pattern .

I just got to know that the famous rainbow flat situated at block 316 Hougang Avenue 7 is going to get a face lift. I wonder will the rainbow be gone after the upgrading. This block is featured in Royston Tan's "Old Places".

Singapore with a ever changing landscape leaves no sense of belonging to any Singaporean. I guess the only sense of belonging will be in the form of pictures.

Some portraits taken at Woodleigh. Thanks to Philmon 师父 for teaching me how to approach people.
Amazed by the resolution. Take a look at the close up of the 100% crop in the first pic. Scanned at 1200dpi only.

Pardon for the uneven development on the second pic. Still figuring out what is the best way to develop X-ray film. :embrass:

Lens: Kodak Commercial Ektar 12"
Film: Fujifilm HRT green
Developer: D76 stock, 4min 30s, 20C, EI400

Just saw this post. Nice one you have here! For x-ray film processing you may want to try out dipping method (that's how x-ray films are processed usually due to both-sided emulsion).

Jia Hong, thanks for the tip! The dip and dunk method is with vertical trays? From your experience, what is the better developer for this film? It is very contrasty when using D76 stock.

Patrick, I'm not really that experience in that as I only used to direct technicians how to expose x-ray image; but as for timing and developer wise, they (the vendor) use super huge tank for chemicals and rack for holding the film due to commercial use and non of them really cares about calibrating the timing as long as there's image coming out (ironically they have a very good and expensive minolta desitometer:bsmilie:)

I started messing with oily stuff with the scanner again due to poor results from recent scan. This looks sharper and more contrast (may be just psychologically after messing up the whole table:sticktong)

Very nice! Did you use Johnson Baby oil as medium? Its damn messy!

Lol. Yes I'm using Johnson Baby oil. It's damn messy though I have tried everything I can think of to keep it minimal.;)

hahha i guess the priorities in industrial and photographic uses are quite different.
I am using HC 110 1:20 20 degrees for 5 mins and I found it to be very contrasty too for the fuji xray film. When scanning I have to set the curve to low but i lose some details in the highlights parts.
Since I need to constantly agitate it as I am using a paterson orbitary processor, I will not be able to play with the agitation factor. Hence, I will try with a higher dilution maybe 1:50 to see the results.

First outing to Woodleigh Park.

Speed Graphic, Shanghai GP3 100.

Now I can see why you guys love this place so much, it's indeed a refreshing and rare patch of open wooded space in urban singapore.
