Thanks Knight! Haven't seen you in action for awhile! Welcome to the LF gang! Shooting FP film is really satisfying, the colours are just something you can't get anywhere else and to top it all off, its instant!

Yah mate been crazy busy with school and stuff - headed to bkk for a bit next week..hopefully catch up with the lot when I am back :D

Very nice, got mountain, got sea, got boat, got clouds, and nice red red sun.

So now you fully converted to field right? I like to know what did you bring for your kit?
How many lenses? How to manage with family and kids.

I am going to Sibu island (Malaysia) again soon.

I have a camera bag to house all my equipment.
- zone VI,
- 4 film holders ( extra box to transfer those exposed film ), dark-bag, films....
- 3 lens ( 75mm, 115mm, 210mm ) + filters...
- tripod and the rest of the standard equipment.

I normally go shoot in the early morning at about 6 ~ 7:30am, just nice to join the family for breakfast after the shoot.

rest of the day , the field camera is in the hotel room. Just use your mobile phone to shoot can already ( I was using a Yashica T4, loaded with Velvia 50 ).
Purpose is still to enjoy the vacation right...

Good sharing! I once saw a HongKong friend who brought his Hasselblad 3 lens 2 cam 2 backs to beach. Kid dropped his SW into sand, the whole trip turned into a kid torturing ugly scene . I got no eyes to see no ears to hear, and dropped the group. I brought only a Leica Minilux. Ha ha!

so u either leave yr camera behind or yr children behind. no two way about it. haha
i did bring my d700/tripod with me when I went Bali with my family. we were staying at the same resort for a few days. Still can take sunrise & sunset shot while the family rest in room.

My kid is big now, does not want to join me anymore. He took my gear and go shoot with his friends instead. :o

As promised a few shots of my close friends, nothing much really just 2 so far. Getting hard to meet them when the sun is up
