The graphic elements not strong enough for B&W, and the colours are too beautiful to forsake - in my humble opinion.

To me, the main element is that red colored pail.
B/W just takes away this item as a subject that is in context with the old buildings.

Sri Layan Sithi Vinayagar Temple at the start of Keong Saik Road and Pearl Center whic is across at Eu Tong Sen Road is in the background. As Pearl Centre will be torn down to make way for a highway, this landscape will change in 2-3 years.
