Like the reflections alot. Reminds me of the scene I missed when I was in China, Fujian, giant power generators amid vast salt farms with piles of harvested salt and glowing setting sun... Too bad the car was moving at 120km/h....

Finally found out where the light leak was coming from. Apparently there is a tiny pinhole at the film back mod that is causing all these streaks on the negatives. Lucky its not the grafmatic holder which is harder to fix than filling the gap on the back.

Realised that I use my Rodenstock Geronar 300MM f9 quite alot, because of the vast landscape this place have offer.
wide angle lens simple makes everything too small and far...

While setting up my 4x5 camera for this shot, a group of youngsters cycle past me and my camera and one of them shouted to
their friends, "kamera klasik lama sia!!!"

The set up has certainly stop a few curious cyclists and walkers. Asking whether the camera works, is it digital, how I process
the photos, why I still shooting film instead of digital etc... the place I was standing suddenly become an attractions. Giving
some of them a chance of looking into the ground glass and hopefully more people are aware that this format still alive and kicking...

You can still buy the whole camera and lens set fresh from the factory, but I option for second hand lens and a affordable beginner body,
I'm a poor artist you know what I mean.

Fujinon SW75mm f5.6- My first shot with this new (old second hand) lens I got a week ago... pretty sharp. easy to focus at 5.6 and
now i thinking of selling away my 90mm f8...

8924899330_53d398e1ee_b.jpg

Fujinon SW75mm f5.6- it a 10 minutes up hill climb to the highest point of Ubin. the climb is manageable...

Rodenstock Genorar 300mm f9- was suppose to catch the reflections at the bottom of the walk way, as I was adjusting the camera the tide recede at a
very fast rate. also with a 10 stop filter for about 30sec.

Rodenstock Genorar 300mm f9 - Chek Jawa at noon, long exposure with 10 stop filter for about 30sec.

Nice job on Ubin. I am still trying to fit the 4x5 into backpack to cycle.

Did you MTB to top of hill or on foot?

Nikk, I put my camera in backpack and walk all the way up... We can't cycle up as indicate by sign board

There are some nice views/locations/interesting spots using bicycle (at Ketam park, or Farkua peak)
We can rent one there (Full suspension bike Polygon about $26).

Anyway, I will away from 8th June - 15th June, will be great if you organize later of the month.
Shoot 4X5 of course!

Whenever I pass by seletar west link, there is a urge to stand in the middle of the traffic junction to take a pic of the gate & guard house with the granite and sand storages by the side. After seeing how fast those heavy vehicles are speeding by, nah...
