Share some Japanese lens RF shots 1....

The Hass seems quite bulky and unwieldy after you are used to RFs. But I guess it takes getting used to.

Yeah...the form factor is definitely different from RF especially the Hassy and Rolleiflex.
The Bessa III is more like the RF...maybe 30-40% bigger...

But "they" say the result very very sweee:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Wonderful Dave, see don't give up on what you have! The lens is excellent, lovel soft bokeh yet sharp and balanced resolution. Having said that, it's mine!!!! (only when big guy says so...) soon... I hope <evil laugh and pinky in teeth like dr evil> buahahaha....

Sir has certainly become the hungriest wolf!:bsmilie:
Your laugh should be.....woofhahahaha..........not buahahaha....(buaya)....
But actually, buaya also can.....one snap & it's gone!:bsmilie:

fujinon 50 1.2, low light, forgot to add, that the long throw aperture dial is a joy to use, fine tuning exposure much easier

Some shots with the Nikkor 5cm f/1.4 taken during the past week. Still learning how to utilize this lens to its potential! Ran on Kodak Tri-X and Agfa precisa slides.. More of them in my Flickr.

Cheers!

Your copy doesn't "glow" so much. It varies with the copy. My Tokyo version glows less than my Jap version, which in turn glows less than Kross"s shown in the thread below:

At f2, the "glow" disappears.

Good shots Wei Chuan, always love how the sonnar has this "painting" like rendering... I am also quite impressed with APS, should have bought some when I was at Chiifs yesterday...

No glow here. The glow is evident when wide-open. Enjoy the lens bro.

The thread's article shows glow very clearly. Thanks for the examples, will continue shooting wide-open to find it. :)
