Hmm...60mm Hexanon f1.2 is quite unique...smooth bokeh and rich color...nice

I do like your 0.95.

It is a special purpose lens when use wide open, like Dovevadar said. Not for daily usage, is HUGE. It is nice too when stop down, exhibit smooth bokeh.

The Japanese people really have style, even after dozing off he still looks good. Compare that with our sleepy friends in Rochor/Sungei road :bsmilie: Must be the fact that he is neatly dressed up and also that he sleeps with finnesse:bsmilie:

I'm new to the Japanese lens and I simply love them!!

Like this one-the colours & the mood and the contrast between the two guys-one so focussed & the other so relax!
Old Japanese lenses are not technically perfect, for those you go for the modern Leica & Zeiss. But they have character, each rendering slightly differently

I will say UV/IR filter play a very important role in when using the japanese lens with the M8.2

When I use Leica lens, the difference is still not as bad as I use nikkor n canon..

Dave, since u like the Canon 50 0.95, just 4 u...I prefer this dream lens on film than digital...Lucky Super 200...all wide open...

Very nice bro.. Like postcard or advert quality. Good thing I am more than happy with my Canon 50 f1.2 LTM. Good and cheap. Am glad my copy is sharp enough.

Haven't try it on films yet, cos the B+W UV filters is too shallow for the lens. The front element will rub against the filter glass.
