Sorry for being late. I supposed to be the first to post pictures as I'm the only one with a digital RF that day, but then, been busy lately. My apologies. :embrass:

Here are a couple of my shots that day.

"Table of Voigtlander Bessa(s)" - Taken by Ansel.

A poor old lady at the roadside. I made a little contributions and she post for me.
Would be better if taken at a lower angle, but then pai seh.

Nice indian man chaining up floral to sell.
Love doing street shoots in Little India, just need to give them a smile and they'd pose for you.

Just managed to get mine processed by Grace Digital Lab. Been busy all week.

Here goes:

Taken with Bessa R2, Ultron 28mm/1.9, Fuji Superia 200. Tweaked slightly in CS.

Apo-lanthar 90mm/3.5

ok lah..for web, i still have to wait to i get home and load them onto the computer. for prints, i will have to go to the shop. So,....lets just say you still need a bit of patience

but i really wonder what will happen if you can't get film anymore? :think:

I'm glad we just have to wonder what will happen.

Film should still be around... at least for my lifetime. Countries like India, China & countries in Africa and some developing countries (please don't get me wrong that India & China are still developing countries... some parts of China is more advance than Singapore!)... people still do not have access to a computer and labs are still using the old machines for developing. Hence the 35mm film is still the choice for these folks to get their memories printed on the paper. With some film die hards, (though not too much) who would still like to shoot on film, I believe Ilford, Kodak & Fuji would still cater for these folks at least for a while. Anyway, as long as there is demand, there will be some manufacturers who will make pastic sheets coated with light sensitive material and sell them as 35mm film.

The only time when film will die is when they make digital sensors so cheap that it's interchangable (like changing the ISO of the film). When full frame DSLR prices come down to a couple of hundred of dollars. And digital cameras start to become disposable cameras. When all the countries in Africian continent have access to AC power or the disposable digi-cam is not battery dependant (self powered or usable for fix number of shots). Face it, there are still many countries and many parts of the world where people do not have access to electricity readily. Unless digital photography is less dependant on electricity, cheaply available for the mass (US$20 per camera), I don't see film disappearing from the planet earth anytime soon.
