Shanghai 120 GP3 - Hiaz

I examined the film on Shanghai and Lucky:

1. The affected area is very faint, on a blank film is something like the wording exposed on -3 or -4 stops on the film.
2. The pokka dots, wordings and arrows are clear but can be burned off by strong image.

Checked with several China contacts on possible root causes:

1. MOISTURE - too old and long storages (2013 2014 batches).
2. Backing paper paint may be slightly radio active
3. Backing paper is very poor quality and possible minute light leaks ( possible)
4. Not due to X ray, as some in China SAME.

Bottom line : GP3 120 or Lucky 120 are condemned.

I can't trust 120 film made-in-China anymore. I had decent results with Lucky SHD100 in 135 format, but 120 gave me sh*t

My experience with GP3 also the same:
http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/traditional-darkroom/1241753-strange-results.html

My results are exactly like this when shot at box speed, made worse when pushed 1 oe 2 stops. It's not even good enough for test shots!!

OK LIST:

Shanghai 4X5 all batches

LUCKY 4X5 --> to be udpated

Lucky 135 all batches
