sharpness for 70-200mm f2.8@200mm
at f2.8 = sharp
at f4 = sharper
at f8 = very sharper
me too. i dont know who's the other chap who said this series is an eyesore, but i find these photos, high quality PnS only.
not to say i can come up with something better, but the shots can be kept at home for personal viewing. a whole series of photos, almost entirely shots of the head/face at the same angle is boring. if you took time to think about which shots to show, instead of a big lot of them which look the same minus the different faces, you'll get more positive feedback.
my instantaneous reaction was, "huh? all stand at the same place, suka shoot the face/head, and call that FASHION photography?"
i wouldn't say i did well, but i believe most shooters back at the new face 04 finals didn't come up with what i did:
think about how other people will be shooting, try to come up with something different. otherwise, you're only shooting shots that EVERYONE can get easily.

Thks Sehsuan for the comment.Taking photo not for me to see alone,need to share with others for good or bad comments.It help me to improve my photo taking.
About the photo i post,i stand at the side of the stage,not a good position.Purpose,just to see how good the lens is.

for one, try to shoot from the front to get eye contact. that would improve the pics. photography is also about being at the right place at the right time.
sehsuan, it's good to experiment with different perspectives (especially, when you're not paid to get the type of shots needed by the client) but having different shots doesn't mean having good shots. they could be just.... different.
