Yipee...!!!

Finally its SG to have this "exhibition"...

went to Melbourne twice when i was there... now i'll see what the difference..

wonder if camera were allowed in ?? Melbourne SEXPO can, hope SG also can..

Cameras may have been allowed in Melbourne Sexpo but I don't believe you could easily take photos all over the place and of anything.

In the first year that I went, I brought my PowerShot G2 and took photos of the live action on stage. With the external flash firing away, it caught the attention of a security guard who told me that I couldn't shoot images or record video of the stage show.

I apologised and said I didn't know (I really didn't know it wasn't allowed). I quickly volunteered to leave the premises to save the rare images I shot, and the guard let me leave.

If you have been to Australia (Melbourne or any other city), you would know that Singapore is not very open. The western world, and almost all around the world, calls Singapore as "the nanny state". Don't expect too much from Singapore Sexpo.

what demo u want ? how about "How to wear condom properly" ??

Just for everyone's information, year 11 secondary students (guys and gals) in Victoria state of Australia are given 1 practical lesson on how to wear a condom properly. This information comes from a secondary school student.

The difference between Singapore's conservatism and Australia's liberalism is very obvious.

I don't understand your intention in this but just to join in the "fun", I was also there studies.

In all, I have been living in Melbourne for 3.5 years (and still here working), and was also living in La Trobe Street (for my 1st year). :sticktong

I have been to Melbourne Sexpo for all 3 years, and will probably show up again this year.

Eh? Can advertise like this meh? :sticktong

I don't see what an expo like this will do to serve any specific productive purpose. Sex awareness and education is effective when it comes from responsible parenting or part of an ongoing school or other educational cirriculum. My opinion of expos like these, based on what I have read so far, is that any message sent across can only be as good as reading bits and pieces of information off the internet, heresay from friends or strangers or maybe even reading or watching various degrees of porn material. I would suppose that there will be some serious and responsible talk about sex, but I don't suppose that anybody would seriously listen as most people would be there to see whatever erotic exhibits they can lay their eyes on. As we can all see, there are already some of us here who literally want to have hands on experience. :bsmilie:

I think that the expo there only for the money. :flush:

digging this up :P Sexpo is on next weekend guys ;)

damn i had been studying there for 8 yrs and i didn't even go once :bsmilie:

At the Perth Sexpo, at the main door were 2 topless girls giving out flyers. ;)

Lots of more nearing XXX stuff on the stages inside, but I'll leave that to your imaginations. I'll bet my last dollar the one in SG is going to be much more restricted and tamer.

Is there even a need to bet?

U would have won even even before betting ya money on it! ;p

Was just a figure of speech la guys.

Anyway the lineup of activities looks quite different. SG version like promoting married couples to pro-create as well as finding partners. I think we all know what the main objective of this "sexpo" is.

"Experience of the China Sex Education" does interest me though...
