Sex sells

I'll be damned if you can get the majority of photographers to ever admit what they do in private! :bsmilie:

I guess at the end of the day, there's no denying that SEX sells .. it's just what kind of sex does CS want to be associated with, and how that is promoted and sold.

Yup.
May I be so bold as to suggest that the reason why all these sexy shoots are so openly allowed to be promoted is because they bring in revenue for Clubsnap.
May I suggest that while this is true for the short run, there's a potential for lost ad revenue from companies which may shun away from associating with Clubsnap due to the impression that we're another Sammyboy forum of sorts.

If we want to promote the art of XMM, Sexy or Nude shoots, may I suggest that the workshop organisers take a real interest in promoting the photographic element of it, in terms of appreciation of the artform and increasing the technical/aesthetic levels of this area of photography.

You guys crack me up when you speak proper english..... "beat off" and all hahahahahahah.....

Ya lor! Deesh wan selious subjeck mah, so mus spit ploperli wan lah! :sticktong

Would you believe 'w ank' was censored! I almost wanted to write 'flog their logs' ...

Thank you for the comment. It sounds extreme, but this "absolute freedom is dangerous" mindset is what has been holding people and countries from truly growing into mature entities. It is not dangerous, it is merely self-serving, and serves only to make you more comfortable, not actually to "make the world safer".

Thank you for your response. I will agree to disagree with you, as differences of opinion is and should be respected. However using the F word when speaking to my boss suggests I am not articulate enough to express a strong response when it is warranted, when that is not the case. If I need to use it, then I use it, and they understand. This is still a different kettle of fish though.

The premise here is "we can control it, and control well enough". This is not me casting doubt on the ability of the mods and admins here on CS, this is me showing up with a reality check, saying "this level of control will never be truly exerted, and it is counter-productive", along with my idealistic side saying I will not support this on a personal level.

Everyone will do what they think is right, regardless, and I can respect that. I just ask for the same level of respect in return towards those of us who either don't give a damn, or those of us who sees this as censorship and are objecting to it.

Just finish a shoot so have time to post.

While I may have a different view on this matter, I can appreciate where you're coming from. I may not agreed with you but, yes, we'll agreed to disagreed.

At the end of the day, we're all guest of the owner/admin here in this forum. If they see it fit to let things go on as it is, I would have to accept it as well. But as a guest I think we all have a role to play to try to shape this place into the kind of place we would like to be associated with.

erm... oredi page 10 le.. no time to read all....am I the first one to report here ? ;p

I still prefer my 'Alphabet Soup'..... :bsmilie:

at last!!! someone from the other side is here. Care to give your views?

Actually it is possible. I think that most of us here would rather attend a shoot where we can learn something rather than just one where a CMI XMM try to act sexy. this is already happening in many other oversea forum and hopefully this is where CS will be heading.
Just like you want your cookie, I want my flying pig :bsmilie:

Can I have triple sexy nude chocolate chip cookies and roasted suckling pig instead? I'm not sure which I would be shooting, and which I would be eating though.

I agree. It's particularly off-putting when one attends a shoot where the subject can't even pose or project properly ... and not forgetting the wardrobes and BBQ skewer eye-lashes and alien creature contacts!

Hear hear! That is something we can definitely agree on.

Why not shoot and eat both? I know I would!

The main issue here is that given that when they advertise it as a "bikini shoot with D _____ , you do get to shoot D size ______ in a bikini. But do we want to be known as the website to go to if we want to shoot soft porn?

I HAVE A SUGGESTION
Can we have a more direct and standardized rating system of the shoot
Like, Brazillian Bikini or less revealing bikini?
If it's a nude shoot, will she spread her legs?
Will she bend over and act sexy?
I mean, the people who want to join these shoots deserve to be treated to some proper information. I want to join a shoot but then I don't want to be disappointed when I go there

Maybe you should go the the photoshoots that advertise:

"Guarantee No Disappointment"?

:bsmilie: :bsmilie:
