Your portraits are always so amazing the composition & lighting never fails to
entrall me.Love Kyi's #4 pic,the reflection against the window and your angle
really shows off her beautiful profile which I myself love to shoot this kinda
portraiture.Am sure you'll master your 5D MKII in no time.

need to get used to it soon..

More like bottleneck than ultimate lah.. I still hope of improving .. :embrass:

ya.. the 5D MkII's LCD screen tooo power, colors all very beautiful and sharp but I also have that problem, go home upload already realized so many blown. So have to be heavily dependant on the histogram for now..

Then again, 5D Mk II + 85mm 1.2 + your skills = ultimate combi already.. probably pushing it to the extreme limits already lol

Yar lor, must agree that my standard dropped in this series.. hope to regain power soon..

I think most have pointed out that the colours and lighting seems a little muted compared with your previous shoots. That said, the pose, expressions are very good. I think your shots of Kyi are one of the best i have seen of her.

True true.. skin tone too pink is my long term habit, very difficult to change one, but no excuse for the rough DI works.. I am rushing to do up & post the series cos hv some other works lining up..

skin tone control 2 pink........... signs of editing stains at edges of face, neck ....... overall good take :thumbsup:

Passport photos cannot cut head wor.. and the BG got diff color leh..
Must follow the general CS P&P rules, cannot anyhow crop, and then eyes, nose, ears, hair all must look sharp sharp and no distracting bg..
My shot will sure kena reject by immigration dept.. :bsmilie:

Tot I can hold and resist the virus, but eventually my mind try very hard to rationalise the buying decision by selling my 5D & the back-up 40D to fund the purchase of 5D2.. make sense cos I dont really need a back-up body anyway..

DSLR are like that, every few years you are forced to make decision on whether to hold on to your old gears which eventually depreciate to close to zero value or sell now to cut loss and buy new gears that will also hv steep depreciattion rate, loss-loss situation ah.. expensive hobby.. haha..

There are long queue indeed.. received offers at $1.5k and $1.6k, most offer around $1.8k +- and eventually sold in the low $1.8k region.. sigh..
