Saw a number of AFS300/2.8 about 4k, slightly higher

For Garion AKA Bird Guru. Saw a 400/2.8 or 5.6 monster about 10k

A number of 85/1.4 at 1.3k

A D2Hs body at 4.4k

serious stuff - any Linux pros/gurus here? i'm exploring options for using linux dats bootable on CDs. so far, i only know Knoppix. is there other options? i'm not too keen on installing linux on my laptop cos (a) still need windoze for PS, and (b) very bad experience installing mandrake last year...

Knoppix is recommended. There is a bootable DVD version with more goodies...

Knoppix has built in support for many devices (eg centrino wireless), and has been an extremely successful and long-lived live-cd. It even supports (officially) re-mastering/customisation of the boot cd/dvd.
