Certain things is different between the AFS 80-200 and 70-200 mah.
You get what you pay for...

Yeah... different finishes, slightly heavier, suckier tripod collor design, no VR, can use on manual body.

Remember I do own a AFS80-200 before... ;p Although I still like the crinkle finish of the lens better as compared to the 70-200VR and also it is not a G lens and can definitely used on a manual body... ;p

2. Sigma's 120-300f/2.8?

Sigma 120-300 is not bad... but price is over 4k.
u will need a big bag to carry that around.
think carefully...

You're wrong... both 80-200 and 70-200 will tend to flare!!! That's why both comes with big hoods. :sticktong
