u mean the turbo pack or the EL4 batt? if u like TMC plug ur flash to ur turbo... woohooo... ur sb800 becomes a white light at machine-gun mode! :bsmilie: the 2x2 allows u to power ur cam with the pack via a adaptor cable. just means ur cam runs long.

get a 2nd hand SB8 then send in to nikon to change the cable to fit SB800.

SD-8A cost how much? new and 2nd hand?

SD-8, 2nd hand u can get at 70 + to 80 +? send to nikon to change cable cost $40+ (within 1/2 hr , make sure u ask lah)
