Same here, using 486RC2 also, use it to hold my 10D +70-200 f2.8 + 550EX is no problem. (As long as u dun use Sigma 50-500mm and above, shld be ok. :bsmilie: ).

No wonder... I use Bigma and that head keep slipping... hmmmm... to Think I always think Sigma is lighter than the 70-200mm :dunno:
