I can't afford a PD7X or a PD70X, am happily using my Digimate Plus II. Cheap and good.

Anything got "plus" in the name sure not bad one lah.

DF, got do 'burn-in' test for your PD7X? Meaning using full charged AA batteries, transfer how many GB before the PD7X can't transfer anymore.

Mine cannot compare to yours (16mb/s leh), I think takes me 15 mins to get my 2GB file transferred. And in the interim have to use my 1GB to shoot.

$75 to $80 from sykestang. Can't recall how much I pay for it.
If you don't mind normal transfer speed, built in lithium (which i feel really good, hardly charge it after I use it).

No need lah. Can use back the same CF card to keep appending into the harddisk loh. The device will think it is a diff CF card each time it copy.

so bloody ex. :(
Which is why I buy the digimate II plus instead ($75 to $80) :bsmilie: , since I have spare CF cards when the 'big CF card' gets downloaded into the portable harddisk.

Yeah, that I know, I'm more referring to testing it's 50GB on 1 set of batteries logic, doubt real life we even do shoot more than 40GB a day.
