He lent me the R72 IR filter once at Fort Canning, took a few shots with it on my 300D + 28-135 also. Not bad. But, i'm not sure about the post processing or what needs to be done to correct the image like what the usual IR shooters have done.

How's the IR lens on the 300D body with that lens? Did u get 'red spots' in ur photos? How long was ur exposure time?
