Yah agree that exposed cable will start to oxidise...the connectors at the back of the Denon not so good lar, can't use banana jacks, spades, what u call them, they are not the normal binding post type but just tiny holes to poke the wire in, then push down the retaining clip. Tried a few times last nite before success, wah piang. But eventually manage to cram the cable end in. Spring clip terminal pins is what kind one?dEthANGeL said:... ok .. i might be wrong.
give it a few days .... or even a week. The speakers should be run in already. Its the hifi that needs to be run in for now.
My bad, not interconnects... change the connectors to sealed banana jacks... used to use those for my hifi until they oxidised like hell (gold change to bronze then almost like rush colour ... and i swear, it started to rust!) .. because i noticed that 1 end is exposed (oxidation might seep into the cable over time, then your cable becomes black, then you have to throw already). You can get them terminated to spring clip terminal pins (those "L" shaped connectors) meant for connecting to spring clip terminals instead of using the bare wires.

Thanks dude. Do u know where to get that pin like connector? SLT?dEthANGeL said:Yeap.. those are called spring clip terminals. Spades are meant for banana binding posts.
Anyway, there is a pin like connector that can be soldered onto your speaker cable (which i'm using) for spring clip terminals...
Hahaha.... i'm always playing bassy stuff ... took about 1-2 months before my spirits were run in.
