Jeremy, goes with what you wanna capture of the fireworks..
usually we open the shutter during the initial round fired, then close when the fireworks "boom" open...try a few more times and you will get the "feeling" right..
As for f what..the previous weekend we were playing around on top of shaw towers and discovered that the picture should be around 1-2 stop under without the fireworks at around 4 sec shutter...thereafter the picture should turn out well with the fireworks

Chromatic Aberration is more commonly known as "Purple fringing", when bright or white light sources have this weird purple or bluish tinge around them. Not ure what is color aberration, did not hear that term b4...

the purple colouring is not around an object in FB's picture mah..
so cannot be CA...

maybe this coming weekend, got anime fest at Osaka Castle, but tickets are ex. prob not going for it, most likely bringing Joseph around to Kyoto or Nara.

Cosplayers are rare to see here. got gothic but no cosplayers.

Oic....guess majority can only be seen at Tokyo's Harajuku district or at major anime conventions or events. Wah anime fest...if I were there now I would definitely go sia...cosplayers galore.
