Argh Mor-der pic again !!!
Anyway, yesterday the uncle beside me wanted to shoot fireworks with 85mm, f1.4.
Reason : the lens is sharp ... :faint:
Then ask me use landscape mode or what mode. Told him use manual mode + manual focus, he say auto focus can mah ...
His gear would make most of us envy though.
If I were you, I would encourage him to shoot fireworks with his 85mm at f/1.4... tell him that he would get a very nice bokeh for the fireworks with sharp images too. :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Yup, it's juz a snap shot cuz he's cam got prob with FW.

I'm only refering to the diff methods that ppl use to shoot FW.

I believe he is just trying to get 'flesh' with you... must be a cheeky old man.

Next time ask him to buy a 400mm to shoot fireworks. Tell him can zoom in to frame the firework as they burst! :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Yep.. that's why some prefer to shoot a lot of frames, go back and stack :)

Just shoot at f/22, 1/8000 with flash mounted, confirm can get the shot.
