sort of la... cos from my monitor, top half of face is bright and bottom half is dark... and the contrast looks a bit exaggerated. now i cannot access the page leh... need log in. :cry:

i suppose you did burning to the background? what i see is, the background is dark and so this brings out brightness on the face to look kind of artificial, so probably i feel that way.

Yeah, didn't really want to cast the face into orangey feel, I didn't burn the background, I only used filters to cast the yellow feel on the trees. Maybe I redo the shot.

nw: yeah it never surprises us how different photographers have different views and style, it's the fun, so just keep it that way, you'll get the hang of it sooner later. I try to break rules often, but sometimes it doesn't work.

Just keep shooting, I must admit I was damn jealous of your images when I saw it before I dozed off else I won't be processing them so fast heehee.
