CP-E2 can be used with 580EX too, same type of connector, and vice versa.

i know the connector is the same, so it can be used on all previous models. have u tried with the E2 on yr 580EX?

reason is simple, i already have E2 and if i upgrade to 580ex, i wanna make sure that my E2 can be used. E3 is so ex mah..... :sweat:

Think the cheapest is Quantum 1+, about S$480 for battery and flash cable.

Qtm 1+ is enuf and can last more than 1 full day wedding.

U all missed the Quantum 2x2 Battery Pack in action last Sat/Sun @ Raffles City. It's machiam like lightning. The models were STUNNED. :bigeyes: :bigeyes: :bigeyes:

BTW, before anyone starts guessing, it's not me. Those who are around then will know.

the lady doing underwater photography only uses EOS Kiss and a 100mm... not expensive leh... (of course the casing and the strobes cost as much)

Also, didn't know that the Kiss WB and metering soo good... ;p

Looks like I'll rely more on "Pofessional" mode liao... hahahaha

As for time... I doub't that they got more time than us "per shoot" basis when we go for shooting outing.

When I was flying to Korea, the airport rules stated that no large batteries are allow. Thus, does that mean it can't be use for oversea travel ?

If cannot use for oversea then no point getting it liao .

Quantum 2x2 is bigger, it's 9.7x15.7x4.7cm. About 1kg.

Both can be consider smallish battery pack, shouldn't have problems with airport.

Haha, one of the photogs @ RC is using the Quantum 1+. Dunno his name though, he's a tall guy with a bit of mustouche and using Nikon camera and a SB28. You might want to check it out with him tommorow.
