as for K/B and mouse im only getting the lower end ones...not so interested in high end and faciful ones...im not s high tech

I'm using an ancient P4 motherboard from gigabyte - P4 1.5ghz running 1GB SDRAM... its running 1 x 80GB and 1 x 160GB ...

This kinda issues can easily be solved by upgrading the bios firmware or adding in a 3rd party raid controller card.

Anyhow ... this can be overcomed by either having the new bigger HDD in an external enclosure .. or a 3rd party RAID controller which can detect and run the HDD without any issues.

The most simple solution, UPGRADE!!! ;p

Right now running a 40GB, thought of plugging in 2 80GB and run RAID 0, and use the 40GB as simple storage, a bit worried my mobo which is like 4-5 yrs old can't run 140GB HDD.

Maybe it's time to upgrade to DDR mobos and throw my KT-133 into the cold-storage :think:

Mmm.. juz upgrade to new MB and run P4 2.8mhz and above loh! Shld be able to use the 200GB SATA HDD. Plug 2 x 200GB in?? :bigeyes:

I feel 400GB still not very safe, higher chance of failing compare to 200GB.. hehee.. :sweat:
