Well, if you're using film, u can do a double exposure using the filter to take the upper half, and then lower half..

For digital... U juz have to PS loh.. take the correct exposure of the moon and brighten the lower part using ps or take a second shot with the correct exposure of the scenery and ps into the first shot.

Third way can do is to use half ND x 4 filter. The filter glass is half piece ND and the other half clear.. Hoya got this filter. :lovegrin:

he is using 20D, so can use AEB (exposure bracketing), set to eg +/-1.5, so when u shoot, you will get 3 photos with exposure compensation of [-1.5,0,+1.5]. then use layers in PS to get the correct blending.
