Not sure abt wad color B+W gives but definitely skylight will not make it colder... ;p

guess we should do a small simple test to find out! hehe...

if i'm not wrong, B+W UV is complete clear and someone i know claimed it enhanced the picture a little in clarity. Hoya is definitely giving yellow.

setup:
a tent and 2 external flashes (both bounced) so that no reflection on the face.
btw, both flashes were not mounted on hot shoe.

Yup, it's UV... UV removes blue, causing more yellow. Where as Skylight removes more blue, causing a pinkish tinge..

Skylight 1B should be Hoya I think :think:

scud: Now I look again at your watch, i think the left side is slightly overexpose but overall I like it. Agree with Clown that more shadows on the chain but I think you wanna try to have evenly exposed watch with no shadows?

some background info:
Singapore Polytechnic first started the Singapore River Raft Race (SRRR) in 1989 in response to the government's call to organise activities along the Singapore River after the successful clean-up exercise. The objectives of SRRR are to encourage our youths to be adventurous and creative, and to raise their environmental-consciousness in the use of recycled materials, and to raise funds for charity.
Probably the first of its kind to be organised in this region, the SRRR is a colourful and fun event where anything goes. Anything that can be recycled that is - plastic bottles, cans, bamboo, coconuts, bicycles, tyres, brooms, rickety furniture – can be used to build rafts. Participants, mostly youths from tertiary institutions, schools, private organisations and international schools paddle their quirky rafts along the 100-metre course on the Singapore River at Clarke Quay. They compete for two titles: the Fastest Raft and the Most Innovative Raft. This event is just not for the young but also the young at heart as well as tourists.

Singapore Polytechnic's 17th SRRR will be held at Clarke Quay on Saturday and Sunday, 29 - 30 January 2005. There will also be various fringe activities to add to the vibrancy and excitement of the event. These include Rock Climbing, Jet Ski Demo, Walking on Water, Inter-Marina Raft Race, Cardboard Raft Race, Bodybuilding Contest and Raft Art Contest.

The funds raised for SRRR 2005 through our staff and students will go to:

Singapore Polytechnic's Overseas Community Service Programme
