Actually I dun see the server get faster after deleting those 2 long thread. As the administrator said, they not sure and want to try to delete and see whether it is the server problem or not. And proven that is not the case as well. :cry:

Cool, but i think that the "connector" of the watch can be position nicer for the shoot lor. Just my tot hor ^_^

I feel since its a free for all server and everyone has their own free will to come in to any thread they want to. I feel you should too.

If you can't stand long threads, just don't click and read them.

I get what you mean lah.
But maybe you not been here long enough to see, actually we are learning day by day and bit by bit here. But we dun learn in a very serious way, but rather a fun and enjoyable way.

Since this is under kopitiam i think it is ok lor. Hope you understand and no futher flaming regarding this topic thanks.

if you're blaming us for slowing down the forum, so be it. it is a fact that CS server is old and cannot handle large and heavy loads. take a look at http://www.howardforums.com and you can easily see thousands of users at any time of the day. their server has no slowdowns at all, why? answer is simple. go figure out if you don't.

Agree... somehow it feel a bit weird at the back of the watch. But color and exposure i like it ^_^

chunger & DA, it is a personal preference, no right or wrong.
i want to break away from what we normally see in the adv.

what i notice is the background 'extended' too much from the face of the watch, so this is distraction and a point to note.

i think everyone is entitled to their own opinions about this thread, or any other long threads..

yes.. we may digress once in a while from photography, and may talk a bit of nonsense here or there.. but ultimate aim is still to learn from each other within the group and also meet each other for shoots etc..

you may say, we can do it on other thread.. but then again...alot of people are more comfortable shooting with people they know.. and I guess long threads like these create an opportunity for people to get to know people first before joining any shoots etc..

whether this thread has helped anybody or if its constructive to anybody or not is up to each individual.. cant really generalise..

But it has definitely helped me and helped a couple of us here in one way or another..

even for other threads.. don;t people digress once in a while also ?

CS has foster friendships amongst us.. not jus normal friendships , but quite close ones as well.... we are defintiely grateful to CS for this..
And we always hope to get to know more friends as well.. as this thread creates more opportunities than any other thread..

IF the moderators really find us a nuisance, guess we would have no choice but to close this thread and not start another new thread...
Cant really go against the moderators , since we are considered guests in this nice place...

no prob. 'extended' too much and become distraction. i dont think by bluring the extended part out will yield any good too as it will still be there. :sweat:

I remember GENO told me Hoya 1B gives pink, B+W 1B gives yellow. :think:

Not sure abt wad color B+W gives but definitely skylight will not make it colder... ;p
