Closing Ceremony

The National Stadium will be officially closed on 30th June 2007. SSC will organising a Closing Ceremony to mark the event. The ceremony includes the following:


-A soccer game between Singapore and Australia
-A friendly game between Singapore & Malaysia comprising ex-Internationals, reminiscing Malaysia Cup Days (30 minutes)
-Concessionary stall runners to sell snacks, like the good old days
-Music & Entertainment by local artistes and star DJs, Brian & Mark Richmond
-Participation by local athletes
-Lightshow & Fireworks display
-Dousing of the cauldron flame
-After-Event Dance Party

Mates can we all meet at the MacDonalds outlet in Rivervale Plaza around 5.45?
And then proceed to go to Punggol end. But will 5.45 be a bit too late? Wouldnt want to miss the first sighting of the sun. This is my first time as well, Also how are we commuting?
Does someone here have a car? Pls let me know. Else i think the buses are good enough.
