:bigeyes: I really would like to think there's a typo for the salary....

Payment is on a lo/no/deferred basis.
We are looking for a cameraman (film on board ship only) for a diving programme. Be able to operate a pro consumer camera (Panasonic). Able to travel oversea.

Date: 26th Oct 2011 - 30th Oct 2011 (Sail back by morning on 31st)
Location: Tioman island and Aur island
Salary: $50 per day

Accomodation and meals will be provided.

Security guard got $60 per 12hour day.
Don't need to travel overseas, seasick, and got free mooncakes and bbq foods from resident.

Being able to operate a camera? Everybody can turn knobs and dials, the results might be another point altogether. What do they want to get? Funky snaps or pictures for a certain purpose?
 

I think they left out $50/hour? Either that or SG seriously needs minimum wage law....even students at MacDonald's get more

What an insult ... To operate Pro camera, wages at least $50 per hour any where else in the world ...

If shot in HD, the face wrinkles, neck skin sagging, hand green veins and wrinkled skin, all flaws of these over-the-hill actors and actressess shows so clearly... YUHS and Eeeee :sticktong

The old actresses put so much powder the face and neck skin tones are so distinct !

Sometimes I wonder why dun they just retire from showbiz gracefully when they can... :think:
 

No wonder people still say there's no money in anything other than maths and science.
 

from my understanding from my peers and personal experiences.Mediacorp really pays dirt to free lancers. I'm not surprised they are paying $50 a day. I was offered even less before for some another assignments which i rejected upfront. I have more pride than that as i think its ridiculous to pay people an amount that can't even cover tranportations and meals for the day.
 

Now i understand why thier shows look so crappy.. U pay for what u get.
 

Pay peanuts, get monkeys. Not surprised why Mediacorp sucks. They suck eggs all along.
