haha nope, though it was one of the brands i took into serious consideration before i bought my camera. we're certainly people who don't decide who we wish to talk to based on the equipment we use, are we? :)

that aside, the uk is awesome for landscapes. i was there or two back, and the orgasmic scenery drove me nuts. :bsmilie:

obviously not, i troll the 4/3's places all the time

i have seen so many pictures of wales, cornwall, brighton and scotland that i'm dying to go there
but safety is a major concern, i suppose, which is natural so we'll have to see how it plays out
london itself, i have not much hope, based on searches done on flickr
at least not the sort of "landscape" that i like, too urbanised
i like water. a lot.. i suppose it shows
but we'll make do, shall we not? :bsmilie:

Why would safety be such a major concern? Anyway, you can visit the Lake district in summer. The good thing is you are staying in London, the air hub in europe with so many budget carriers to choose from such as easyjet, ryanair with wings spreading out to almost the entire europe.. Point your cursor to anywhere else in europe, click and you go. There are no limit to the number of countries you can visit once you are in london.

don't know, london is not singapore after all
and the crime rate is significant, not insignificant like singapore
though of course most of my friends over there have been reassuring me that it's fine so long as i don't monkey around and run into back alleys when it's dark

mmm yes, travel, definitely will exploit the positioning. and of course the coast of scotland, like so many famous landscape photographers today have taken it, just seeing it alone would be rewarding, i guess

nonsense! (both from the perspective that the number of Singaporeans in London is ridiculous, and that depending on your preferences there are lots of other options.. ;) )

The pub/club scene is also better.

and i suppose with so many people there there'd be some lookers, i guess :sweat:
 

This is a good occasion to a Pentaxians hangout...trying out lenses, esp. DA* and limiteds ones.

Wishing night86mare plenty of time and opportunity to shoot in one of the best place in the world for street photography :thumbsup:
