Semporna

Thanks! I use some action download from internet. Still learning so you will see some inconsistency haha... Yes Semporna is really very nice from a photographer's POV. :)

nice also for those who like the human touch.
it is pretty obvious that have spark your portrait- and action-predominant takes compared to earlier trips.

i think u are more consistent than me, with a preference towards sharpness and higher contrast in your street focal length takes. i normally save pics that i like a lot, and that is like 24 out of the above.... my fav is #37 for the brilliant timing and composition, as well as #18 but without inverting it.

i have some personal opinions that u can consider, but they are to a variable degree quite subjective. u can totally ignore them if you do not feel the same. :)

#11 bad yellow color cast.

#20 and #48 - the light-fall-off like vignette is too harsh on the lighter colors. u might want to look into the gradient, alter the colors/tone at the edges or simply do without the vignette. u might see that in some of earlier pictures too. i find that i didn't like certain vignette although i didn't have time/drive to go back to edit and repost them.

completely minor points
#16 and 40 can have reduced saturation and reduced contrast as the overtly black areas doesn't blend in well.
#6 white balance a bit towards neutral, not an issue at all but just different from your other pictures.

Thanks for your detailed comments! Greatly appreciated :) When it comes to PP, i'm kinda lazy especially to the details you mention. Thanks for pointing them out!

actually no need to go back as they are all minor issues, except for #11 if u like that picture a lot, u can deal with the yellow cast, if not no point.

by the way, the vignette works very well for #51. nice portrait too.

Thanks! :) I'm using 5D2, 16-35L and 135L. As i shoot raw, all the photos has to go thru PS. Basically, i apply a sharpening action, a pross crossessed action (for the first few pic for a little yellowish/greenish tint), and vignette action for some photos.:) A few is HDR.

Absolutely wonderful series. Great photos and far too many faves for me to list them. Broadly, the photos are wonderfully engaging - the Bajau people come across as a really warm and open lot, but you must have also taken the effort to engage your subjects.
