The vanguard tripod costs me around $160. Around the same price as SLIK and cheaper than manfrotto, but build quality like manfrotto. Can tahan up to 3kg on its ballhead. Not bad lah, next time show u guys.
The CSC quote me 1 week....:cry: unfortunately camera not ready yet. I also asked them to clean the sensor and viewfinder. See how loh.
Then the studio lights I bought from tago tech, one of the strobes spoilt also. That seller asked me to mail back the strobe by singpost. I mean....this is a Strobe bulb....no? U trust singpost to mail something fragile....geeze, but he said he settle the liability.
I dunnno....first time buy from him, the experience is not positive. I felt that he shld have checked the strobes before sending my orders out by courier, instead of wasting my time to send it back for replacement. and if he mail back my replacement bulb, then singpost crack it, who pay?
So as a warning for you folks who intend to buy strobes studio lightning from tago tech, send an email to the co. ASK THEM TO CHECK FIRST before asking courier to come down. Courier easy money, every trip charge $9.50.....I also want to be courier.

Haha.. yr hand shivering is it? (cos post reply 2 x) Strange, when I was in australia, I dont have enough time to shoot. day time shooty birds, macro and landscape. Night time shoot stars and erassing those lousy photos to save HD space. :lovegrin:

Override2zion and I decide to change to 28th Sep due to lack of camping response.... we meet at 10am at Blk 406 Sembawang and 11am at Changi Village for those who wanna meet us there. =)
Things to bring:
a) Water
b) Camera & Gear (unless you don't want to shoot)
c) Insect Repellent
d) Some money for ferry, food, water & etc (ferry is $2.50 per trip, there are provision shops/coffeeshops there)
