I'm a 4.5 hours old Nikon D60 owner! Just shot a few shots at home...that is my experience so far...hahaha....I believe Nikon gives the best images! :D

deswitch > lol.. it's not true that sembawang CSer are more nikon users.. just happens that the few of us who meet are... =P i'm sure there's lotsa canon users hiding somewhere too. =)

i'm in sembawang and a canon user!

Haha, DeSwitch, mind explaining to me why Nikon users are considered to be on the dark side?
Btw, I'm another Canon user.

Wah so late still posting? Who are the late night people of Sembawang? Wanna go for supper? :bsmilie:

Just finished a movie...consider late now? Hahaha...

juz got back.. consider late or early in the morning? :bsmilie:

strongly agree with u PyeeL thats the answer from me too >>>> miss weedtweed

It's good to interact, socialise, and make more friends.

Yesh yesh, I'll turn up for the next one if i can make it. haha now i gotta rush for some project deadlines :\

and I'm a Nikonian too! got my D40 like 2 months ago after sitting on the fence for years (also cus im broke) now i'm so poisoned! i'm eyeing sigma 30mm/1.4, but i reckon i'll settle for the nikkor 50mm/1.8 instead. BUDGET.

you guys have any opinion on those 2 lenses? 50mm requires manual focusing on D40 which i'm abit apprehensive about. :/

Canon "L" lens are mostly white in color so they are on the bright side so the opposite for Nikon lenses are usually black in color are called the dark side.

in fact, I have friends who uses all sort of brands so it does not matter which brand we use.

anybody worked for japanese before? totally hate it. im working everyday.. burnt all weekends and they view it as, it should be this way. lol... *faint*

depends on each company bah...

traditional jap company: punctularity. long hrs, slow promotion, low pay.. go thru hard times together..

traditional american company: hire fast, promote fast, fire fast... (hmm.. wad hard times together??)

since there's always a mix of singaporeans, etc in the company.. culture may change quite a bit over time.

The thread is dying !

Come come lets keep posting, keep the thread going. :)

Hm okay. Anw people, if I have a question can I ask it here instead of posting in the Newbies corner? I better ask first in case any of you ask me siam.

U can start by doing a search for the answer using the search function.. If you can't find, I guess it fine if you wanna ask something here or newbie thread..

If it's regarding photography, most of the qns had been asked over and over again by newbies too lazy to seach for previously asked qns... and tend to get slam by some irritated CSers.. lolx

Hahah, good idea. That's a hint for me too. Thanks.
