nice meeting too.. learnt alot from uncle who say he is 17 ashelyy and thanks Nicholas68 for inviting me to join you for weddings. Great learning exprience. The rest you were great. Love the exchange of ideas. truth to be told, i dun have much photography friends so it was nice meeting ppl of the same passion. we should all go for shoot some day

jokes aside i am seriously thinking of the 85mm 1.8 over my tammy 28-75. i dunno leh i shoot indoor no flash my tammy struggle even at iso 1000 2.8 but my prime 50mm nvr fails me. if i do get teh 85 and sell the 28-75 is all primes liao.. 50 85 105 lol
dun be crazy haha where got such $$$$. no la.. just prefer primes yet u know typical sg kiasu cus no zoom lens.
i v budget de.. only get wad i need

If you're just going to shoot portraits.. Primes are excellent.. 50mm, 85mm & 135mm :thumbsup:
Zooms are convenient, useful & excellent for travel/events photography.
End of the day, it really depends on what you want to shoot and buy lens base on whatever you plan to shoot
