Ahhh..how did I miss this thread??
I'm glad to see there are also photogs here up north. I have stayed here for almost 10 years now and was starting to wonder where photogs were in Sembawang. I see so many threads for other areas, including Woodlands, that I was thinking of moving...;p
Anyway, a brief intro about myself. I stay in 408, and photography has been a hobby of mine for 20 years (no prizes for guessing my age). I started with film and had my own darkroom in the house (yes, it's still a hobby..). I went fully digital about 3.5 years back when I bought the Olympus E300.
As for digital imaging or editing, I've used Photoshop when it was known as Bryce (Version 1.5) back in the late 80s. The reason I'm still using it, along with all the other Adobe and imaging stuff, is that I work in the local printing industry. I started out as a digital imaging specialist, prepress executive, production manager and even a trainer in an institute.
Today after 15 years, I'm heavily involved in digital printing, both from a technical and business development point of view. Oki, so that's more or less about myself.

Lastly, yes I think there should be a get together just to know each other better. This will certainly help in getting a group for shoot outings (and I don't have to feel lonely!! :sweatsm
