Therefore, all the photos were quite noisy (ISO 400)

Good try, I like how the clouds envelop the Sun.
However this shot lacks the 'Wow' factor. Remember to change ISO next time!

What do you guys think of this shot entitled "Peek-a-Boo" ?

Maybe you could crop the picture placing the subject based on the rule of thirds, would work better i think.For example, having the sun placed 2/3 from the left and 2/3 from the top. Sunset/Sunrise depends largely on weather and clouds, lots of patience needed. Good attempt bro :thumbsup:.
