Sorry...I'm referring to the ubin trip is on the F1 weekend. paisei paisei...
Haha...I also no money to buy tix...so I volunteer...am a flag marshal at turn 18. But cannot shoot during race, so hopefully during practice I can sneak my camera in...any advise? Me super newbie leh, only got kit lens...haha...juz set high shuttle speed and snap away? :dunno:

Passed by the cityhall F1 track area that day and saw them testing the lighting, quite bright lighting i would say. Practise your panning shots, since you're at a corner laggi better since the cars will slow down to attack the corners, better opportunity to steal a shot or two. Rent a large aperture lens if possible, you need super teles if you're standing far away.

Alright. I propose 27th to 28th Sep.. we meet at 12pm for lunch at changi village before going in =) Come back on 28th Sep around noon time ;p
Things to bring:
a) Food & Water
b) Tent (if you have, please indicate if you're bringing)
c) Sleeping bag (unless you prefer to freeze on the beach)
d) Camera & Gear (unless you don't want to shoot)
e) Insect Repellent
f) Change of clothes
g) Toiletries (There are toilets there, water in the toilet are not drinkable as it's collected rain water)
h) Some money for ferry, food, water & etc (ferry is $2.50 per trip, there are provision shops/coffeeshops there)
