Selling photos on stock photo sites

well since stock is a long term outlook, the time taken to approve the picture is pretty insignificant relatively. Unless you're submitting last minute for festive seasons or special occasions like xmas etc. Otherwise, the approval time doesn't concern us imo

For me i look at the approval time relative to the approval times in the other sites cause i submit to several sites together. and obviously the faster the pic is approved the faster the money will start coming

Yup true, although editorial isnt that large a part for stock photography, especially in Singapore.

i saw that poster for quite some time, but thinking whether to shoot just for the ''snap'' of it. decided to finally since it might qualify for stock. it was because i thought that that banner had replaced the advertisements banners all over singapore. something unusual and rare hence might be interesting. shutterstock reject though haha

i did that with photomatix hdr, just shot at bracketed 3 shots difference of 1ev.

You can have a paypal account yes, but you will not be able to verify it without a credit card.

I think it depends on the country. Check with Paypal.

My Paypal account is verified and linked with an account with Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Someone I know in Malaysia could only link Paypal with his credit card. He mentions that the charges for withdrawal from credit card is relatively high. So he just spends the earnings from the credit card.

But I don't find that with a bank account.

Some of my photos taken at marinabay & photo of esplanade are rejected by both fotolia and dreamstime due to intellectual property issue. Anybody have any idea about this? we can still see photos of maria bay buildinga and esplanade on the selected photos on both website.
