Jace, that's a brilliant idea! The z bracket can certainly be used as a drop-level support for an ipad mini with a 1/4"-20 nut sugru'ed onto its back. An 8R picture frame minus back held 45 degree with wires or a flarebuster completes the set up.

I recently bought and attached a pop-up JJC lens hood for my a6300 LCD. The shade is 90 degrees though. It would been great if someone do a 45% and coat the inners side w mirror. That would be a great selfie product for a6300.

The Glidegear prompters are quite reasonsably priced. I use a parrot prompter with Teleprompt+ for mobile shots and a 7" USB monitor with Promptdog for static work. Parallax eyeline can be corrected by just 2 meters of space between talent and monitor placed just below the lens. No mirror needed.
